Whatcott & Associates, CPAs, is located in the picturesque town of St. George in the southwest corner of Utah, adjacent to Interstate 15. We have been helping individuals and businesses for over 25 years with financial consulting, advisory, accounting, investments, trust, and tax services. Leading the firm is owner Robert Whatcott, a Certified Public Accountant, who has extensive experience providing a full range of accounting and financial consulting services.
Active in the community, Bob was elected and served on the St. George City Council from 1996 through 2007. He has coached various youth baseball and football teams the past twenty-three years. Bob has also served on the board of directors of a number of non-profit organizations, including The Foundation for Students of Washington County, Raindancer Youth Services and currently serves on The Utah Housing Corporation, a quasi-governmental organization that provides funding for affordable housing in Utah.
Raised in Southern Arizona, Bob came to St. George in 1980. He is a graduate of Dixie College and Southern Utah University, majoring in Accounting and Business Administration. A die-hard sports fan, Bob was an All-American baseball player in college, and is still active in softball, golf, running and biking and has run the St. George Marathon several times. He and his wife are the parents of four children.
